biography

Brandy began her healthcare career working as a Patient Care Technician in the Emergency Room while attending Kent State University. She earned her Bachelors in the Science of Nursing in 2005 and continued working as an Emergency Room/Trauma nurse. Brandy returned to Kent State University earning her Masters in the Science of Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2012. She began her NP career working in Internal Medicine in the Kent area until specializing in pain management and orthopaedic spine surgery. While working in ortho spine, Brandy helped conduct an FDA Clinical Trial for posterior lumbar fusion instrumentation, cared for acute and chronic spinal conditions as well surgical patients in the hospital and post-operative setting. She enjoys all things spine and helping her patients improve their quality of life with a multimodal treatment approach.

Brandy loves spending her time with her husband and four children. She enjoys the Theatre and music. Chocolate and almonds are her favorite “food groups” and she and her family love all things Marvel. She is also passionate about Yoga and the many benefits of this practice.
